Mrs. Lianne Herron

Mrs. Lianne Herron has been the director of bands at Thomson Middle School since 2006.  Mrs. Herron holds her bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia and a masters degree in music education from Kent State University.  

Mrs. Herron has been an integral part of the Blue Wind Band family.  From writing drill, arranging music, or holding sectionals she does whatever she can to make this groups successful.  Mrs. Herron is the primary woodwind instructor for the Blue Wind Band.  Mrs. Herron also makes sure that  the Herron children don't have to spend too much time at the band room.
